Telematic Game of Drones (2016)
I co-produced a distributed concert with Eldad Tsabary (Concordia, Montreal) and Chris Chafe (Stanford, Palo Alto). The concert featured performances from Glen Hall, Nolan Lem, Michael Pinsonneault, Ian Jarvis, and CLOrk. Below is a 360-degree video of an excerpt of "Chopper", composed by Chris Chafe and performed by Glen Hall, Nolan Lem, and Michael Pinsonneault:
From the Ether: A Distributed Performance Concert (2015)
Co-produced by myself, Tom Beyer, and Tim Shuttleworth. This concert was organized in collaboration with the Technical Committee on Network Audio Standards for the 2015 AES Convention in New York. Featuiring performers located in New York, Toronto, Montreal, Stanford, CA; Tromsø, Norway; Buenos Aries, Argentina and Belfast, Ireland. Audio and video will be transmitted between all locations over high-bandwidth internet links. A brief panel discussion also preceeded the concert to benefit convention attendees.
Telematic Embrace: You Had Me at Hello World (2014)
I executive-produced a distributed concert held between Montreal, Palo Alto, Hamilton, and Toronto on October 11, 2014. I asked the composers involved to consider latency, and other idiosyncrasies of the telematic system, not as points of failure, but as novel compositional parameters.
